UK Radio was a rock pirate which used to broadcast from the Black Country.

Occasionally heard in the late 1980s and early 1990's, mostly on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Often broadcast on Medium Wave, also occasionally heard on FM. Both MW and FM were heard as far as Erdington and Handsworth (and occasionally as far as Stetchford), in Birmingham.

In addition, UK Radio was occasionally relayed on Short Wave by Radio Orion. It is thought that UK Radio and Radio Orion were closely linked.

Some of UK Radio's programmes were Pre-recorded, and broadcast on more than one date.
