SCR
From Freeradio
SCR of Sheffield stood for Sheffield Community Radio.
First broadcast in the spring of 1989, and continued into the late 1990's.
SCR was a black community radio station, playing mostly reggae but also different styles of dance music. In addition, phone-ins and discussion shows were broadcast - some of these could be controversial, but entertaining nevertheless.
Signal was often strong enough to be receivable in Clowne.
