Paradise City Radio broadcast from Bradford from 1989 into the early 1990's.
Paradise was first heard in spring 1989, on 104.9 FM, with a format of dance and reggae music.
At first,broadcasts were mostly heard at weekends, but Paradise later began broadcasting throughout the week.
Paradise was often heard as far as Clowne with a weak signal, until the autumn of 1989 when BBC Radio Leicester opened on their frequency of 104.9. Paradise is understood to have continued to broadcast into the early 1990's.
Paradise spawned a sister station, Asian Paradise Radio, which continued well into the late 1990s.
