LFM (Lethal F.M) was a pirate operating on the the frequency of 97.9Mhz from the Chapel Allerton area of Leeds in 1988.

It played mostly hip hop, electro, funk, soul, house, techno and acid and had a variety of talented DJ's from Leeds. Some of the DJ's found notoriety in the music business... Dan Greenpeace now works from XFM in London.

The station used to broadcast on weekends for a few months between late 1988 to early 1989 when it was eventually taken off air by the DTI
