Exile FM

Exile FM (sometimes announced as XL-FM) used to broadcast from the Black Country, from 1989 into the early 1990's.
The format was relatively broad, with both chart pop and dance music played
Frequencies used were 100.5Mhz, 100.7Mhz, and 105.6Mhz. There were also occasional relays on 101.3Mhz and 105.5ish.
At times, Exile FM had a strong signal which reached far and wide. In 1991, Exile FM was heard as far as Clee Hill near Ludlow. In 1993, was heard as far as High Oredish near Matlock
