Dance FM was 1 of 2 stations which came on air shortly after Fantasy fm Sheffield stopped broadcasting in June 1995, the other station was Joy fm Althought happy hardcore was the predominant style of music another style of music which was heard on Dance FM was dream house. The station featured the well known and distinctive voice of Martin Leverton, as well as DJ Dream of Fantasy fm Sheffield
On evening of 14th April 1995 , Dance FM was heard on 107.5 FM.
On evening of 24th August 2000 , Dance 108 was heard on 108.0. Signal reached as far as Crystal Peaks shopping centre near Killamarsh.
