Britannia

Radio Britannia of South Yorkshire broadcast from the late 1980s into the late 1990s. Occasional broadcasts took place, mostly at bank holidays, but occasionally other weekend (mostly Sunday) broadcasts were heard.
Format was rock music, both classic and contemporary. The main DJ was Ken Crescendo, occasionally other DJs were heard.
On-air on various frequencies and from various locations during this period.
Early broadcasts took place from the South Yorkshire town of Rotherham. During the mid 1990's, Radio Britannia moved location to Barnsley.
Powerful signal could be heard over a wide area, Clowne included.
Last heard around 1999, on 99.9 FM.
