Bradford

Bradford is a city in West Yorkshire, not far from Leeds.

An ethnically diverse city, Bradford is perhaps best known for its large Asian community but also has a sizeable black community.

Bradford has had a number of pirate radio stations since the 1980's, maybe a larger number than Leeds. These have included stations operated by, and broadcasting to, Asian, black and white people.

In addition, Bradford was home to one of the major suppliers of transmitters to pirate radio stations - namely, Veronica Electronics.
