Asian Paradise Radio used to broadcast from Bradford, throughout most of the 1990's.
Format was Asian music and community info.
Asian Paradise Radio is believed to have had its roots in Paradise 104.9 - a black soul and dance pirate which was on-air from 1989 into the early 1990s. Asian Paradise Radio, however, outlived Paradise 104.9 by several years.
In the early 1990s, APR used the frequency of 105.5, and had a clear and powerful signal which often reached Clowne.
In February 2008, a station from Bradford did an RSL under the name of Asian Paradise Radio - thought to be connected with the 1990's pirate of that name (although not confirmed).
